EP Theatre club ran for three years, from 2004-2007 and produced three full length plays. Some members also presented pieces as part of English Perfect's poetry evenings.
Our first play was "Romeo and Juliet", which took place in the upstairs room of Olsztyn's Bowling Alley. The play involved hip-hop style and metal-fashion, as well as dance routines and mobile phones ... a bit different to the normal Shakespearean production.
The second play was another Shakespeare play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream". This was performed at the Catholic Liceum on Baltycka. This show was even crazier due to the shortage of actors, everyone had at least two parts. Once more, the actors of EPTC triumphed!
The final production was the dark and brutal play "Macbeth". This text was specially adapted by Trev Hill from the Shakespeare original (and took a Looooooooooooooooooooong time!)
In November 2006 some members of the club performed as "Cutty Sark" and presented a short piece based on the war poetry of Wilfred Owen.
This took place at Olsztyn's MOK "Spichlerz"
In January Cutty Sark again performed in Spichlerz. This time they presented works of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.
